Catch and cook is a reef charter with a plan for afterward. The crew fillets and bags the legal fish you keep, then recommends a place in town that will cook a guest’s catch. Dan has said that half his reviews include a picture of that plate. The picture only exists when the fish showed up.
We cannot guarantee dinner. Writing a menu on a website does not move a school of snapper. If the bite is off, you still had the boat, the teaching, and the afternoon. If the bite is on, you leave the dock with bags of fish and a restaurant name.
This is also just how every fishing trip on Miss Chief ends. You do not have to book this page to have your catch cleaned. Book it when the story you want to tell is the meal, and when a shorter, calmer day fits the group. Two hours or four. Six guests. The whole boat.
Do not book this hoping for a galley and a chef offshore. The cooking happens ashore, after the fillet. Bring a cooler mindset and an appetite, and leave the deep-drop fantasies on some other site. We do not sell deep-drop tilefish. Those grounds do not produce.

- A phone or camera
Anyone who wants the day to end with their own fish, cooked by someone who does that for a living. The same near-shore patch reef as the intro trip, 2–3 miles out.
